This night market has 2 names (also called Linjiang Street Night market 臨江街夜市). The more popular name people go by is Tong Hua Night market.
I didn’t actually eat the street food. I ate in the small stores around this night market to be “safer”. Here are some of them.
This riceball place is so freaking good. I’m bringing my mom back next time. I never had this flavor before.

I ordered the COLD rice ball soup. Usually it’s hot, but it’s 29C today. Too hot. The owner boils the rice ball and put HUGE pile of shave ice on top. I waited till it melt. It’s so good. Must try. 50 or 60 NT. I forget
You can also get the flower soup to go in condense format 40NT per bottle. My friend Anthony took one. There’s little flowers in it. The ratio to dilute the drink is 1:8 (add 8 bottles of water to it)

This small store is also one alley parallel /north of to the night market. It’s Xiao Long Bao is 80NT (less than $3) per order/8 soup dumpling. My friend is so happy I found this place. He lives very close by. It’s a very small store, fits only 15 people. But because it’s not on the main night market street, it’s not as crowded. Address listed below
This is pork paste + vegetable soup. You can add pepper and vinegar to it. 60 NT ($2 price may change)
Stinky Fried tofu + pickled cabbage. 50 or 60NT ($2) This was just ok/meh for me.
This store is located on the street on the way from the MRT station to the night market. It’s very local small eats. Not very memorable.
